Warren Buffett’s Greek comments: Mr Buffett took to US airways to give some of his opinions on what’s happening in the eurozone and the fate of the group’s black sheep, Greece.

“Mr Buffett said that there were actually several ways it would mean that rules actually mean anything.”

The deadline for the countries to sign up for the AIIB was this week: Three more heavy hitting economies have now joined the new Chinese-led world bank.

“They now join a list of 40 countries which have signed up to join the bank including the US, Germany, UK, Brazil and India.”

Disappointing jobs numbers out of the US: The number of new jobs created was less that the number many were predicting.

“This breaks the 12th straight month the US has added more than 200,000 jobs per month.”
