Lines company Electra accuses power companies of 'misinformation campaign'

A lower North Island lines company says power retailers are conducting a “campaign of misinformation” to obscure their true costs to consumers.

On Tuesday, Contact Energy [NZX: CEN] said its retail costs to consumers made up only a third of an average power bill.
