KPMG boosts Tax Division with new Partner

Bruce Bernacchi, an experienced tax practitioner has joined KPMG as a Partner in the Tax Division.

This appointment comes with high regard as Bruce is no stranger to KPMG.

Having commenced his career with KPMG in 1995 as a Tax Consultant, Bruce rapidly progressed to Senior Manager and also spent three years on secondment at KPMG Melbourne.

Bruce then moved on to become a Tax Partner at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts. He has most recently spent the last 10 years in a senior tax role at GE, with his most recent role being Treasury Tax Counsel – Asia.

KPMG’s Tax Division is boosted by Bruce’s deep expertise in international tax issues, the financial services industry and treasury issues.

Bruce will bring a fresh perspective to client service and marketing initiatives, business development and transfer pricing. The firm is excited that Bruce has returned to the ‘KPMG family’ with Ross McKinley, National Managing Partner for Tax, saying that Bruce is a strong leader in the NZ tax practice.
