Experienced financial executive Jonathan Mason has been appointed to the board of Westpac New Zealand.
Mr Mason has more than 30 years’ experience as a Chief Financial Officer in major corporates in New Zealand and the United States of America including Fonterra, Carter Holt Harvey and Cabot Corporation.
He is an experienced director and currently sits on several boards including Vector and Zespri. His earlier governance experience includes seven years on the board of Carter Holt Harvey as well as being a director of US-based investment funds business, Natixis.
His appointment took effect on 18 June 2015.
