Graeme Hart's latest super yacht launches in Norway

Norwegian shipyard Kleven Verft has launched another mega yacht on order for NBR Rich Lister Graeme Hart.

Norwegian shipyard Kleven Verft has launched another mega yacht on order for NBR Rich Lister Graeme Hart.

Marine industry website GCaptain reports the 116m- long Expedition Support Vessel was launched on Saturday.

It is the second vessel built by Kleven for Mr Hart and his family, following the delivery of the 107m explorer yacht Ulysses last year.

The Ulysses is currently on her first cruise in the Mediterranean, GCaptain reports.

Kleven says Mr Hart’s latest boat, currently called no. 370, is designed by Norwegian ship design company Marin Teknikk in cooperation with Naval Architect Kyle Dick of New Zealand-based Oscar Mike Naval Architects.

The vessel, designed for long expeditions in rough waters, can accommodate 66 people and is reported to be equipped with a helicopter deck and hangar, plus space for five excursion boats and several smaller boats for water sports.

Mr Hart, who is New Zealand’s wealthiest citizen with a net worth of $9 billion, according to the NBR Rich List, has a third luxury vessel – the 77m Weta.
