Glenn Martin appointed to motorcycle company board

braaap Motorcycles announced today the appointment of Glenn Martin to its board of directors. Glenn is the founder of Martin Aircraft and inventor of the Martin Jetpack. This appointment is the first of several steps the company is taking as it implements its international growth strategy.  

Glenn Martin, who invented the Martin Jetpack and founded Martin Aircraft Company Limited (ASX:MJP), says he was attracted to braaap primarily by the passion of the founder and core team. 

"I was astounded that a small Aussie company had developed a range of excellent motorcycles, seemingly under the noses of the larger players. I immediately felt that there must be something special about braaap and wanted to find out more. Since I have moved on from developing Jetpacks I have been approached by a number of companies about helping them. I  wanted to be involved in a company with a clear and simple vision. A company run by people who have demonstrated integrity, passion and commitment. A company where my 34 years of developing Jetpacks and growing a company to an IPO stage would be helpful.”
