Fisher & Paykel Healthcare took home a couple of big prizes last night at the Institute of Financial Professionals in New Zealand, or INFINZ, awards
It won the best corporate communicator for market leaders and its chief executive, Mike Daniell, took the leadership award.
Abano Healthcare won the award for best communicator among emerging leaders.
Devon Funds Management was fund manager of the year, First NZ Capital was sharebroking firm of the year and Stephen Ridgewell at Craigs Investment Partners was research analyst of the year.
Vista Group’s $92 million float, of which $40 million was new capital, was judged the year’s best equity issue while The $223 million takeover of Synlait Farms was the transaction of the year.
