The designer behind the Vidals label rebranding is Aaron Pollock, who recently returned from living in the US for 11 years.
While there, he worked on major international brands including Gap, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, David Yurman, Anheuser Busch, Gilt Groupe, Hilton Hotels and Target Stores.
His work was recognised by the American Institute of Graphic Design AIGA 365 Communication Arts, HOW Magazine Print, and he has appeared in several Rockport publications.
His focus on TV art direction led to projects with musical stars Carrie Underwood, John Legend, Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera. His involvement in the music business also includes co-founding the QuarterAcreLifestyle band.
In 2002, he co-founded the boutique design company So Design Co, which was featured as a Fresh Company in the Communication Arts Design & Advertising Annual.
Mr Pollock’s career began at in Auckland at Designworks, where he won Stringer Award, after graduating with a diploma in visual communication design from Unitec Design School in 1994.
