Cynotech Holdings has had its securities suspended this morning after failing to provide the NZX with its annual report.
The report, for the year to March 31, was due on August 2.
Trading in CYT securities are now on hold after the five-day business period had expired.
Cynotech, headed and majority-owned by former Equiticorp head Allan Hawkins, recently advised the NZX it no longer wanted to be listed on its exchange.
Cynotech currently trades on the NZAX market operated by NZX. NZAX is a lower cost marketplace, designed for small to medium-sized, fast-growth businesses.
"Shareholders need to be aware it is the board's intention that Cynotech Holdings' equities will still be listed, just that this may be on an alternate exchange," the company said.
The company reported a loss of $2.7 million in the 15 months to March 2010.
