Office and education supplies provider Croxley has boosted its sales team with the appointment of Jon Barrell as Sales Director.
Jon, who joined the team on October 1, has a broad skill-set which will be instrumental in creating opportunities for Croxley as it expands its business.
He has held a number of senior Sales and Management positions across a range of businesses and industries and for the last three and a half years he has been the Sales Director of Samsung Electronics.
Prior to this he was Country Manager for Lion Dairy & Drinks and had stints with Goodman Fielder, DB Breweries and Unilever.
Jon has also been involved in consulting and strategy work within the office products industry and has a breadth of knowledge around channel strategy, brand development, sales leadership along with identifying and implementing new business streams.
Croxley Managing Director David Lilburne welcomed Jon to the Croxley team, describing him as an “impact player” who would strengthen Croxley’s sales capabilities.
“We are committed to growing the business and Jon is joining us to move this forward. This is an exciting time for Croxley as we develop innovative new products and brands.
“Jon’s experience in sales, strategy and brand development will make him a valuable addition to our team.”
Lilburne also acknowledged the valued contribution of Anthony Aitken, who is leaving Croxley after four years in the role of National Sales and Marketing Manager.
“Anthony has done a fantastic job in a dual role managing the sales and marketing teams. He showed real leadership and helped motivate the team during a period of significant change at Croxley. We wish him all the best.”
