The Conservative Party's bid to a "Vote" logo registered with the Electoral Commission has failed.
Each political party can have a logo appear on voting papers, if approved by the Commission.
After a period of public consultation, the Commission rejected the Conservative's "Vote" logo, stating it is "likely to cause confusion or mislead electors".
The party can still use the logo as part of their campaigning, but it won't appear on ballot papers.
"The Commission concluded that the appearance of the proposed logo as a party logo on the ballot paper featuring the word 'vote' could be regarded as instructive," a statement reads.
Mr Craig told NBR he was "A little disappointed that the logo has been rejected. I seriously doubt it would've confused anyone. We will shortly submit a new option that is similar but does not use the word vote."
The Commission said it had approved logos put foward by Internet Mana and the Civilian Party.
