No more medical tape.

The Auckland Blues have found a solution to Sonny Bill William's brand boycott.

The team announced this morning that the player will "support Plunket NZ on his jersey for the rest of the Super Rugby season."

Mr Williams caused a stir over the weekend when he took the field for his first game for the Blues with tape over the BNZ logo on his team jersey's collar.

He said he would not wear the logos of sponsors related to charging interest, gambling or alcohol, due to his growing Islamic faith.

BNZ is a major corporate sponsor of Plunket, allowing it to keep a general association with the Blues player.
