This is a supplied media release.

New Zealand’s leading digital health and safety company, Blerter, is pleased to announce the addition of Craig Sinclair to its board.

Founder and CEO Richard Gill says he’s delighted have someone with Craig’s skillset on board.

“Craig brings considerable experience on both sides of the board table, as CEO and business leader as well as board member. His time with Airways NZ, Air New Zealand, EziBuy and Profile will serve him and us well.”

Craig’s experience is extremely complementary to those of the existing three board members; Helen Robinson, former Managing Director of Microsoft New Zealand, Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur and thought leader Tony Seba and Andrew Knight, CEO of New Zealand Oil & Gas.

Craig’s experience in the governance and commercialisation space will work particularly well as Blerter grows, says Richard.

“Craig understands the issue of driving health and safety from the ground as part of a business’s culture and his blend of skills will help us take Blerter to new heights.”

Craig says Blerter offers a unique opportunity as a product and he is pleased to be on board with the company.

“I have a real affinity with the issue of health and safety and understand that keeping people safe is a matter of culture and leadership rather than compliance and form filling. Health and safety has to be a core component of every-day life and what better way to do that than through the technology we all carry with us – the mobile device.”

Craig says he was attracted to Blerter’s story of innovation and the ease of use of the platform.

“For me it’s a no-brainer to find a tool that encompasses that convergence of technology, of mobility and ease of use and to exploit that for the betterment of those involved.”

Craig joins Blerter as the company expands its presence around the world with a new sales team in the United States and an increased senior leadership presence in Auckland.
