JLL welcomes Ben Johnson as director of valuation and advisory services.
Based in Auckland, Mr Johnson has 17 years’ experience in the commercial property industry, where he has worked across commercial valuation, asset management, finance and acquisition roles.
An associate with the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and a senior member of the Property Institute of New Zealand, Mr Johnson will be taking the lead on some of JLL’s larger valuation and advisory projects.
Mr Johnson says, “I have a unique perspective having been a client of all of the major property firms over the years, with JLL’s professionalism, commitment to their customers, investment in systems and a market leading team, when I was considering my next move this role was hard to ignore.
“Valuation provides a great opportunity to get involved in the front line of transactions, understand how a property or deal works and provides a new challenge every day. The momentum that JLL have shown in recent years in all areas of the industry made it particularly attractive when the opportunity came up to re-join JLL.”
Mr Johnson previously held the role of national valuation adviser for Westpac, worked for JLL up to 2012 and prior to this worked in London for a listed retail property trust.
