ASK ME ANYTHING: MYOB boss Tim Reed

NBR Radio host Andrew Patterson puts your questions to Rod Drury's best mate.

Tim Reed is next up in the AMA chair.

Mr Reed is chief executive of MYOB, and a minor shareholder in the accounting software company (after its recent IPO on the ASX, his holding is worth around $A24 million and MYBO itself just over $A2.1 billion, putting it roughly on a par with Xero).

MYOB is best known as Xero's key regional rival, putting its chief executive on the wrong end of trash talk pointed criticism from one Rod Drury.

In its efforts to expand, it's also hoovered up several New Zealand software companies including Ace Payroll ($7 million) PayGlobal ($9 million) and BankLink ($136 million).
