ANZ Bank's internet banking system suffers outages
UPDATE: ANZ says its systems are now back online.
ANZ Banks says its internet banking system is now back online. It has been intermittently out of action since at least 9.30am this morning.
ANZ spokesman Stefan Herrick says some customers haven’t been able to log on at all and some have been able to but are finding the system is much slower than usual.
The bank’s technical team doesn’t know the cause but “are working through that now and, obviously, they hope to have it up again as soon as possible,” Mr Herrick says.
ANZ apologises to any customers who have been inconvenienced, he says.
