Scams behind $6.5m loss in Q2 cyber-attacks

A 21% rise in cyber incidents were reported in the second quarter.

After a slow start to the year, cybersecurity incidents against Kiwi networks are rising again.

The New Zealand Cyber Emergency Response Team (CertNZ) has released its June quarter cybersecurity report, which shows a 21% increase in incidents compared with the first quarter of the year.
