Mass Australian cyber attack appears to have paused

Security expert says commanders of attack likely stopped it to avoid reprisals.

The mass cyber attack on Australian industry, government, and essential services seems to have paused, with New Zealand remaining untargeted.

Matthew Lord, head of cybersecurity of global tech services company NTT, told NBR it was likely those heading the attack had ordered it to be stopped
