Hackers target lack of security for remote workers with ransomware

Hackers are exploiting vulnerabilities created by a shift to remote working, targeting virtual private networks (VPNs) and remote desktop protocols (RDPs) to embed ransomware within Kiwi businesses, the government’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT NZ) warns.
