Demand for the ‘New Zealand Digital Dollar’ still yet to take off

Easy Crypto launched its NZD-backed stablecoin in 2023 with much fanfare, but admits that uptake of the cryptocurrency has not been as great as first hoped.

EasyCrypto launched the New Zealand Digital Dollar stablecoin in November 2023.

Use of Easy Crypto’s stablecoin has fallen sharply in recently months, with the total supply of the crypto currency nearly halving since August.
