Kiwi space startup Dawn Aerospace has gained Civil Aviation Authority certification for rocket-powered flights of its Mk-II spaceplane.

It’s the first time a remotely piloted, rocket-powered vehicle has been certified for flight out of a civil airport without having to exclude other airspace
