Cryptopia reopens in state of suspension

Questions remain over liability for an estimated $23m in losses.

Christchurch-based cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia will re-open this afternoon, 49 days after an estimated $23 million heist of its cryptocurrency assets.

The company has been moving its crypto wallets on to new servers and intends to open in ‘read-only’ mode.
