Bontia Bio raises $1.25m to scale its animal flea treatment
In what’s being called a world first, Bontia Bio has developed a proprietary method of cloning and scaling the production of natural bioactive compounds that have a variety of uses.
Local biotech company Bontia Bio has completed a $1.25 million seed funding round, which will go towards scaling and developing anti-parasitic compounds that provide a natural alternative to treating pets with fleas.
The capital raising was led by Sprout Agritech, with support from Booster NZ’s
