Auckland University invests $2m in digital humans

Tech startup Soul Machines scores its second major investment in a fortnight.

Auckland-based AI company Soul Machines has won a $2 million investment in convertible bonds from 15% shareholder UniServices, Auckland University's commercial arm. 

This follows a $US7 million (roughly $10.6m) investment from Mercedes Benz manufacturer Daimler AG’s financial services
