As cybercrime rises, CERT NZ says over-65s are safer

About $3.8m was lost to cybercrime in the third quarter.

The over-65 age group has improved its cyber-security skills even as the overall total number of breaches and incidents rose in the third quarter.

Between July and September, reported cyber incidents rose to an all-time high of 1354, the most since the Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT NZ)
