A jump in subscriber numbers boosts Xero's 2020 earnings

But the impact of Covid-19 will only be seen in next year's results

ASX-listed accounting software company Xero has reported its first full-year net profit - some $3.3 million for the 2020 financial year - on the back of good subscriber growth. It compared to a net loss of $27.1m the previous year.

Operating revenue rose 30% to $718.2m as subscribers
