Kotahitanga ‘whare’ for Māori might take some building
It's been promoted by iwi leaders as a framework to help Māori weather the current political and economic storm, but there are still plenty of questions over Te Whare o te Rangatiratanga.

Māori leaders are proposing an assembly or unifying body for iwi, hapū, urban Māori and whānau as a collective way to address issues with government policy. Te Whare o te Rangatiratanga would also promote Māori rights and explore pathways toward economic tino rangatiratanga.
