Māori tourism a $1.2 billion dollar industry

Māori tourism’s contribution to New Zealand’s GDP was $1.2 billion in 2023 – equating to a 23% increase since 2018, according to The Value of Māori Tourism report released by Minister for Māori Development Tama Potaka.
