Rodney Aero Club enjoys rejuvenation

Flying training restarted at Kaipara Flats.

Saturday 18 December was a momentous day at Kaipara Flats airfield, marking the first training flights of the revitalised Rodney Aero Club after several years of hibernation.

The Rodney Aero Club was formed in April 1963, with its first task to construct an airstrip from old swampland at Kaipara
