Steffan Berridge is confirmed in the role.
New Zealand owned and operated wealth and investment organisation Kiwi Wealth has confirmed Steffan Berridge as chief investment officer, effective immediately.
The announcement follows his appointment as acting chief investment officer in December.
In the role, he leads the investment management team with responsibility for investment management processes and functions. He will also head the development of responsible investment for Kiwi Wealth.
“I’m excited to be taking on this role working with an amazing team focused on actively and sustainably building wealth for our Kiwi investors,” Berridge said.
Berridge has spent eight years with Kiwi Wealth, latterly as head of quantitative strategy, and prior to that nine years in London at Man Investments, one of the world’s largest managed futures funds.
Kiwi Wealth chief executive Rhiannon McKinnon said, “I am delighted that Berridge is at the helm and look forward to working closely with him.”
Berridge's appointment follows that late last year of Holly Marshall, who assumed the newly created role of responsible investment strategist.
