Huka Lodge sale generated $33.1m for van Heeren entity

The sale price for the luxury resort in Taupō had not been disclosed.

The former owner of Taupō’s famed Huka Lodge, a core asset in a decades-long feud between Alexander van Heeren and the late businessmen Michael Kidd, received $33.1 million from its sale, financial statements show.
