Hawaiki Cable sold to BW Group for undisclosed sum

Hawaiki, the company behind a 15,000km fibre optic subsea cable, has been sold to Singapore-based maritime company BW Group for an undisclosed sum in a deal that founder and executive chair Rémi Galasso said will usher in a new chapter for the company.
