Kawerau fastest growing property market of the decade

Average asking price increase in the industrial Bay of Plenty town rose by more than 130%.

Asking prices for houses in the small Bay of Plenty town Kawerau have led the country over the past decade, increasing by 132% between 2011 and 2020, according to realestate.co.nz data.
