Ikea parent group buys Otago farm for forestry investment

Ikea's parent group has purchased the 5500-hectare Wisp Hill Station in the North Catlins to establish a carbon sink forestry project.

The Swedish retail behemoth’s parent, Ingka Group, will initially plant 330ha in radiata pine, eventually planting another 3000ha of the site over five years.
