Home asking prices fall to lowest rise since 2012; new listings plummet

All-time high asking prices in some regions reflect lowest level of houses for sale.

The national average asking price for a home in December increased at its slowest pace in seven years,  property listing site  realestate.co.nz says in its monthly report.
