Eden Park returns slide, ahead of ‘fast track’ development

Rugby and Pink were the chief drawcards during a year that still saw the ‘national stadium’ post a deficit of $4.8m.

Eden Park saw revenue slide to $29.7 million during its October financial year, from $44.4m the prior year, with 540,723 people headed through its gates.

That was a little over half of the one million who queued up the prior year to get into the country's biggest venue, for both the women's rugby
