ComCom wins appeal against two Hamilton realtors

A 2017 judgment dismissing collusion charges against Monarch Real Estate and Lodge Real Estate was successfully appealed.

The Commerce Commission has successfully appealed the High Court dismissal of price-fixing charges against two Hamilton property companies.

The charges against Lodge Real Estate and Monarch Real Estate were dismissed in November 2017. At the time Lodge had a 35% share of the Hamilton real estate
