Coldplay helps thaw hotel market, city room rates jump to $329

Coldplay and Pearl Jam concerts helped boost Auckland's hotel rates for the first time this year.

Auckland's average daily room rate bounced to $329 during the third week of November, on the strength of three Coldplay concerts which helped push occupancies to their highest post pandemic levels.
