Queenstown hotels widen gap on Auckland, with top daily rates

Resort continues to fire, while Auckland hotels and tourism operators bank on a big November, as city comes off sedate October.

Queenstown remained as the standout tourism earner last month, with average daily hotel rates hitting a record of $286 – up 7.4% year-on-year and a third higher than during October 2019.
