‘Things go wrong, don’t hide it’: FMA’s message to audit firms

The Financial Markets Authority has called out international ethics failures at the Big Four accounting firms, such as exam cheating and PwC Australia’s confidentiality breaches, and implored New Zealand auditors to be up front about issues when they arise.
