Sales and profit up for egg producer Indus

Egg producer Indus Valley, whose brands include Farmer Brown and Woodland, has reported a net profit of $23.5 million for the year to March, up from $1.4m a year earlier.

Revenue was up 14% to $258.3m.

During the year, the company completed the sale and leaseback to Australian real estate investor RF
