Officials and ministers face risks under fast-track bill

Treasury has concerns about proposed legislation, although says reform will be critical enabler of sustainable economic growth.

The Treasury has warned the Government that strong probity safeguards will be needed once the fast-track approval system is operating, to deal with instances where ministers and officials have access to commercially sensitive information linked to listed companies.
