Climate Change Minister James Shaw has rejected suggestions government legislation will force the wholesale culling of livestock.
Under the Zero Carbon Amendment Bill tabled in Parliament on Wednesday, farmers will be expected to reduce methane emissions, largely created by belching cows, by 10%
