Reserve Bank signals interest rate increases but lockdown delays its move

Inflation and employment outlook to be reviewed with view to reduce monetary stimulus over time.

The country’s move into a level 4 lockdown last night has prompted the Reserve Bank to leave the official cash rate unchanged at 0.25%.
