PwC report proposes change on Eke Panuku board

Council’s property arm has conflicts of interest that can’t be mitigated by management controls, says consultancy.

A PwC report on conflicts of interest at Auckland Council property manager Eke Panuku has found the organisation’s management controls do not mitigate the risks associated with conflicts at board level.

In particular, the report recommended the Council consider appointing an independent board
