Prime Minister says level 2 restrictions will gradually ease

Cabinet will decide on Monday whether to increase the 10-person limit on gatherings.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says there will continue to be a two-week review on whether to lessen restrictions under level 2.

“We do intend to keep phasing in additional activity under level 2, when the evidence shows we can, with low to little risk of further outbreaks.”
