PM backs off on regional fuel taxes

The prime minister says there will be no new fuel taxes while she is in office.

This morning National leader Simon Bridges told The AM Show that he had been informed the coalition had been in talks about introducing a regional fuel tax to Wellington. This was after Wellington Mayor Justin Lester told the show he is not interested in implementing a fuel tax.
