New cancer drugs to become available from later this year

Money for the drugs will come from a pre-commitment against next year's Budget.

The Coalition Government has boosted Pharmac’s funding by another $604 million over the next four years so it can deliver up to 26 new cancer treatments, as well as 28 other new medicines.
