Minister of Finance recalls ‘staring down the barrel’ of Covid

Minister of Finance says he has ‘natural bias’ to keep the debt-to-GDP ratio low.

Finance Minister Grant Robertson told a Parliamentary select committee today he had a "natural bias" to keep the debt-to-GDP ratio low.  

The comments came in response to Green MP Chlöe Swarbrick asking Robertson to what extent the metric was "relatively arbitrary".
