Minister happy with ACC despite $8.7b deficit

No real cash loss, so there’s no need to over-react.

ACC Minister Iain Lees-Galloway is playing down the prospect of big levy increases after ACC recorded an $8.7 billion accounting deficit last financial year.

Levies are set to be reviewed in the first half of next year and Lees-Galloway said the government would not pre-judge the matter.
